Rajep-a-Kalyni
A South Devon based bellydance group formed in 2006 All of our accomplished members have been dancing as students/performers for at least seven years, and we also have our own drummers! We are interested in exploring diverse forms of traditional belly dance and also fusing with other styles such as Indian Classical and Latin/Flamenco. Our repertoire includes works based on choreography by world-famous international dancers such as Morocco of New York and Dondi of San-Diego as well as several numbers choreographed by our own group members.
Rajep-a-Kalyni are available to dance at most corporate functions, events, weddings and birthday parties
but not 'stag' nights or similar all male events. Please contact us here for further details. |
The Oasis Network
Hosted by Kalash ATS. The Oasis Network was set up as a peer group because we live in a bit of an ATS desert and have few teachers in this area. It seems there are many others in the same boat so we thought we should get together and create a little ATS oasis here in the South West. The idea is to get together every 4 to 6 weeks for 3 hours and just dance our socks off, share ideas, teach each other what we know, go over things we're not sure of, practise fades, transitions, leading, following cues, chorus work and so on - whatever we want or need or just can't do without having other dancers to dance with and - it only costs £5.
This is not a workshop and a knowledge of basic ATS steps is required.
If you know anyone who may be interested then please put them in touch with us.If you'd like to come to our next get together please let us know so we have a rough idea of how many to expect (numbers are limited). Please email us Here or register in the Oasis section of the forum at www.kalash-ats.com
Dress up or down and bring ideas, a smile and of course zils! |
